This new cultivar displays a graceful weeping habit with slender, long, olive green leaves and stunning burgundy new growth. Left untrimmed, the foliage will eventually trend to green, so prune lightly to keep the wine colored new growth coming. The bark of this small tree peels delicately to reveal a darker under layer, and lower branches can be removed to display the slender, straight, single trunk. Drought tolerant and rarely bothered by pests.
