Red-centered hibiscus. A medium-sized shrub growing to about 8’. Flowers are tubular, mauve to pale lilac with a dark red central spot. Excellent for use in warm, dry climates, but adaptable in the cool coastal climates of California. Fast-growing and may suffer from wind damage. Well-drained soils in a sunny or semi-shady position are preferable.
