Big bluestem. Ornamental grass noted for its glaucus blue-green foliage and rich, warm fall foliage colors. This cultivar was selected for its upright and clump forming habit. Mature plants reach 6-8’ tall with a 3-4’ spread. Useful as a screen, in a meadow or prairie, or for naturalizing in large areas. Plant in full sun in any soil and provide moderate water. Hardy to below 0F. North America to Mexico.
