Artemisia vulgaris 'Oriental Limelight'

Limelight mugwort. A brightly colored evergreen subshrub that forms a pleasing mound of golden-chartreuse foliage in full sun or part shade. Flowering spikes not worth keeping around should be cut back as they form in late summer/early fall. Otherwise a low maintenance splash of foliar color to play off of purples or dark greens of nearby plantings. Plants form 2-3’ mounds and do best with moderate water. Hardy to 20F. Garden origin. Common name synonym: St. John's herb, St. John's plant
