Bellflower. This spreading perennial sends up 3’ flower spikes that nod from the weight of profuse creamy white to lilac-pink pendulous bells. When viewed closely the flower throats reveal colorful maroon spots and a rosy blush. Flower color is best in shade, and plants develop a lush ground-hugging rosette of foliage with regular water.
