Often referred to incorrectly as Carex comans ‘Frosty Curls’, this plant greatly resembles the New Zealand hair sedges, but is indeed a separate species. Distinguished by its pale green, almost white coloration and by the curled tips of the hair-like foliage, Carex albula makes a delightful companion in containers with Fuchsia magellanica ‘Versicolor’.
