Perhaps the darkest flowering Ceanothus we carry, with almost black flower buds highlighted by silvery bracts. Selected from the Sonoma County coast near Horseshoe Cove, it grows to 3’ tall with a wide spread, to 15’ or more. The dark flowers combined with the rich green foliage give ‘Kurt Zadnik’ a distinctive brooding appearance. Tolerant of coastal conditions, it has proven successful in Southern California gardens. Hardy to 15F.
