Carmel ceanothus. Low-growing selection with a clean, spreading appearance. Plant this in well-drained soils where it has room to spread, and then stand back to admire the dark, glossy green foliage accented by violet-blue springtime flowers. Mature plants reach 3-4’ tall and 12-15’ wide with moderate water. Hardy to 10F.
