This selection can be pruned into a small tree or kept down to 8-10' as a tall shrub. The bark on this variety is green, and makes a stunning garden specimen pruned into a standard tree form. Once established these beauties prefer no summer water, but make sure to water the first few years in the ground. Leaves are small, 1/3", dark green and glossy. Selected by nurserymen Paul Bonine and Greg Shepherd of Xera Plants. Suggested underplanting: Pacific Coast Iris. Drought tolerant once established.
