Ceanothus 'Tuxedo' is an exciting new California lilac selected for its dark chocolate-colored foliage. Open and upright, specimens will reach 6-8 feet tall with an equal spread. The lavender blue flowers are produced in late summer and early fall much like the cultivar 'Autumnal Blue' from which 'Tuxedo' is derived. It makes a dramatic specimen combined with silver, blue, and gray foliaged plants or sited at the back of a perennial border. Hardy to 0F.
