Darmera peltata

Darmera's flower stalks emerge from the ground on naked stems in spring, and are followed by cupped, rounded but indented leaves up to 24 inches across. Foliage forms a vase-like clump, 6' tall and 3' wide. Flower clusters are composed of white, pink flowers with conspicuous stamens.
