Hybrid created by Santa Barbara Horticulturalist Edward Orpet. Provide full sun in coastal gardens, and light shade inland. Cool weather causes leaf tips to blush pink, red and purple. With a clumping habit, each rosette may spread an additional 6-8 inches, creating a dense, charming ground cover. Thought to be a hybrid of E. elegans. Synonym: Echeveria subsessilis.
