Red hot poker. Upright perennial with grass like leaves and slender heads of tangerine-orange flowers in late summer-fall. This South African perennial grows up to 2' tall and about an equal spread. It makes a good choice for border plantings and cut flower. For best performance in full sun and well drained soil. Hardy to 10F.
