Large, mounding shrub to 8’ high and 12’ wide with light gray-green, 2-3”, maple-like leaves. The showy flowers are white with rose-purple centers and purple veins. This species features a long flowering season from early spring into late fall in coastal regions. Useful as a background shrub or screen. Southern France. Formerly listed as Lavatera maritima. Hardy to 20F.
