Cushion bush. Small evergreen shrub to 2’ tall and twice as wide with wiry or thread-like foliage covered by white, wooly hairs. Plants form a dense, rounded mound and are blanketed by pale yellow, almost white blooms in late spring and summer. Provide full sun, well-drained soil, moderate water and an occasional light shearing to maintain form. Thrives in coastal conditions where it will tolerate salt spray, high winds and sandy or gravelly soils. Hardy to 20F. Australia, Tasmania. Previously known as Calocephalus brownii.
