Sago flower. A small erect, fountain-like shrub to 3 feet tall with dark pink buds that open as rose pink flowers that fade to white as summer progresses. Adaptable to most soil types, it quires full sun with occasional to regular irrigation. 'Rose' makes a good choice for cut flowers, border plantings, and coastal gardens. Hardy to 30F.
