Compact Jerusalem Sage. This fine, gray-green selection has a multi-stemmed habit and is smaller than the common Jerusalem sage, growing to 3 feet high with a 3 to 5 foot spread. Whorled clusters of bright yellow flowers appear from spring to summer adding a rich contrast to the downy gray leaves. It is one of the finest shrubs in our garden and combines well with other Mediterranean shrubs like rosemary and lavender. It is best grown in full sun with well-drained soils and has proven to be extremely drought tolerant in our coastal climate. Hardy to 10F. AKA 'Compact Gray' and 'Miss Grace'
