Some confusion exists in the trade as to the proper classification of this fragrant subshrub. While some list this as a selection of Salvia clevelandii, others declare it just a vehemently to be a garden hybrid (of clevelandii parentage.) Either way it's a fine plant for California gardens. Features stems of 3” gray-green, fragrant leaves with vivid blue flowers from late spring into summer. Requires occasional water when established. Hardy to 20F.
