Giant feather grass. Forms evergreen clumps of narrow green leaves to 3’ tall and as wide. Open yellow-gold panicles shimmer in a broad cloud to 6’ tall. A durable and and striking grass well-suited to California grasses. Full sun or light shade with moderate to occasional water once established. Reseeds, but not in a disagreeable manner. Hardy to 0F. Central and Southern Spain, Portugal, and Northwestern Africa.
