Sweet violet. Long-stemmed variety growing to 8” high with 1” dark purple, fragrant blossoms in spring and fall. Dark green, heart-shaped leaves are toothed on the margins and the tufted, long runners root at the joints. An old favorite for full sun or light shade with moderate water. Hardy to below 0F. Europe.
